Liankhawpui
A mobile-first community hub for village updates, directories, and trusted local information — built for Khawlian.
Overview
What this case file covers
Liankhawpui is a community information app shaped for Khawlian village. It brings announcements, local group contacts, useful directories, and village updates into one calm, mobile-first experience. The app is designed to feel familiar and simple — not like enterprise software — so community members of all ages can navigate it without a learning curve.
Role and features
What I handled in this build
App planning, interface structure, Flutter development, and offline-aware data flow.
Searchable village directory for groups, contacts, and local details.
News and announcement feed for community updates.
Offline-aware access planning with PowerSync.
Problem
Important village updates were scattered across calls, chat groups, and word of mouth. There was no central, reliable place to find local information — and any solution needed to work well even when connectivity is inconsistent.
Solution
I structured the app around a searchable village directory, concise news cards, and offline-aware data planning using Flutter and PowerSync. The interface is calm and readable by default, without alerts and distractions competing for attention.
Result
The community now has a single, trusted place for local information. Staff time spent repeating the same updates across different channels has dropped significantly, and residents can find contacts and announcements without asking around.
